My Students

My students are hard working, energetic, and academically competitive students. They work diligently once a week from September to December and twice a week from January to March so that they are ready to compete in the Academic Bowl.

These students are 4th and 5th graders who love to learn!

Over the last two years, these students have been successful in their representation of our school. They continuously strive to improve their skills by searching for new material to practice.

My Project

Just Buzz On! is a project that will help raise funds to replace our current buzzer system. We use a buzzer system to practice for competition. As the students figure out answers, they buzz in to answer trivia questions in teams of four.

The buzzer system we are trying to purchase will allow us to practice in the same way we compete.

Our practices are intense! The students thrive on using the same equipment in practice that they will use in competition. It keeps us better prepared to win, which is something else we really, really enjoy. Learning is amazing!!
