My students need dry erase markers with attached erasers to last throughout the school year, personal dry erase boards to write on, and cleaner in case the math gets really messy.

Seventh grade students in a high poverty school district need individual dry erase boards for their desks.

Students often get frustrated when working on difficult math problems and crumble up the sheet of paper they are writing on often discarding the important notes from the lesson.

These boards will guarantee each student has the property writing materials to participate in class every day without the financial burdens of purchasing paper and pencils. Students will be held accountable to attempt answering all problems put forth by the teacher. In addition to providing space to work and solve classroom questions the boards can be used for math games and sketching out geometry simulations. All of which help keeps the students fully engaged during the instruction period. In addition to the in class educational benefits these boards are environmentally friendly as they will cut down on the paper usage by the students and potential paper waste that may litter the school's hallways.

By donating to this project, you will be helping seventh graders in a high poverty school district succeed in mathematics this school year.
