Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

First grade is a step up and a new level of learning for students coming from kindergarten.

To help students better navigate around their learning, they need tools to help engage their different learning styles.

For this project, I have requested velcro and lamination materials to help create various math and literacy learning centers. Alphabet and Number Pop-It sets would help engage students, as they work in small groups with their peers. Organizational materials, such as toothbrush cases (to hold pencils), mesh zipper bags (for math materials), writing folders and book baggies would help us to organize our learning materials.
