My Project

“The attitude is very important. Because your behavior radiates how you feel.”-Lou Ferrigno. Choosing a good attitude and displaying good behavior makes a difference for every child's learning.

Our Positive Behavior Support Team's goal is to help students make good behavioral choices, the kind of awesome choices that will lead to success in the classroom, success in learning, and creating productive citizens in our community.

Our students work hard to receive incentives in the classroom. These "Bronco Bucks" for great behavior allow them to earn certain rewards. Students who work hard and continue to try to be their best also get to participate in an End of Year Water Day, our school's Positive Behavior Celebration. This is a time for students with exemplary behavior for that month to get the chance to have extra playtime and the added bonus of purchasing rewards with their earned "Bucks" for great behavior. We want to have more Great Behavior incentives for our students. This is why we need The SpaceWalk Inflatable Bouncer. Trying to rent these rewards for our kids is costly, but using DonorsChoose would allow us to keep our students working hard for the chance to "Jump for Joy" because they made great behavior choices!

The opportunity to reward students' behavior success will make a huge impact at our school.

Students who are behaving are learning. Students are learning life skills from our Positive Behavior Support Program. They are learning goal setting, making good choices, and the benefit of saving, but most importantly they learn the qualities of good behavior, which will help them have success for the rest of their lives. Our students are learning today to create a better tomorrow for themselves.
