Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The students here are from a low-income family-oriented community. Students come from local communities around the corner. The students are well behaved independent kids. The students are from local communities who live a struggled life but know how to move forward.
Most of the kids are excited to come to school and are ready to work.
They need guidance and that is what we are here for. They seek help and we, as teachers, help them out. They are bright and smart students who enjoy their life even though they might have struggled out of school.
My Project
These plyometric boxes will help my students improve their fitness and want to run more. These are fun alternatives to work on their cardio fitness with limited space to run. The girls will want to join when they see new equipment that will help them improve.
Girls are much needed on the running team.
These boxes will help motivate more girls to join the running team and will help balance the team. With these plyometric boxes, they will be able to work on many different parts of their body to help them improve their running.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
