This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
My biology scholars are spectacular critical thinkers who are unique as they are curious. They are genuinely eager to learn new concepts. I wish to provide scholars with engaging hands-on experiences in biology to culminate the key phenomenon they have studied. The phenomena they have studied so far include lactose intolerance, cystic fibrosis, and sickle cell anemia. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve their scientific literacy experience and increase visualization of the body systems structures, but you will also impact their learning experience for a lifetime.
During the pandemic, scholars were removed from opportunities to engage in a hands-on activities.
By participating in this activity, scholars will interact with and be enthralled by the wonders of science as they gain an appreciation for the nature of science and proper lab techniques. Scholars will be assessed using a combination of observation, participation, and written assignments.
My biology scholars deserve the opportunity to think like scientists, so they are inspired to be scientists of the future.
