Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Using foldable mini trampolines with a stability bar will enhance opportunities for my students to participate in cardiorespiratory fitness activities. My middle school students will find joy in jumping on a mini trampoline, particularly my special needs students where gross motor skills are not yet fully developed like their peers. Students can work on balance and cardiorespiratory endurance all while having fun.

The mini trampolines will be a special addition to our classroom that is easily accessible to all my students in a variety of physical education settings.

Students will learn to use the mini trampolines safely to strengthen their heart and leg muscles to achieve a vigorous workout to ultimately improve their overall fitness.
