My Students

I can't believe it's almost the end of the school year! It's safe to say that my students and I have learned so much from each other as they were new to me and vice versa. We have celebrated student successes in academic achievement/adaptive living skills with award ceremonies and celebrations. We have even held parent celebrations to support parent engagement in schools. Now, we would like to take it a step further to have a celebration outside of the building for students and families!

My students love to release energy so what better way to celebrate their successes than a field trip that will allow them to do just that.

The only problem is that we have encountered a slight obstacle when it comes to acquiring transportation to get to our field trip location.

My Project

Transportation costs can become a huge hurdle when planning field trips. For my students, additional costs for school-related items can be difficult to obtain. Even when breaking down costs among an entire class, it is still a bit challenging to produce costs. We have even added another class with the hopes of being able to limit costs. But to no avail, we were unsuccessful. But that is not stopping us from trying to get to our location.

Sky Zone in Bowie, MD is the perfect location for students to be able to release all of their energy in a fun way.

Students are able to complete obstacles, collaboratively engage in games, and have an overall good time. All while jumping! But in order to have all of this fun, we are need of transportation that will safely get us there and back to school. We also require one that aligns with the policies of our school district. After a review of possible companies and price quotes, we found the one that was most reasonable with All-Met Transport!

Having used this company before, I know that they have my students best interest at heart. For three of our field trips, we have had the pleasure of working with All-Met Transport. Through this relationship, students have been afforded additional traveling time, a movie while traveling, and personalized items from All-Met. They more than exceeded our expectations and for that, we would like to utilize them again.

We are hoping that you will be able to help us with transportation! It's truly a key part of this process and we are unable to move forward with our next steps!
