My Students

My students are excited to come to school each day and to learn from one another. They enjoy working in collaborative groups and sharing their knowledge with each other. They enjoy using their critical thinking skills to evaluate new information and integrating the arts to show their learning. They get very excited anytime we can use technology in the classroom and they aren't afraid to try something new.

Jane Goodall once said, "You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you.

What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make." With this quote in mind, I want to help my students become aware of the impact they are having on the world around them.

My Project

I am so excited to bring materials to my students that will help them stay active and fit. During our PE time, my class has two favorite activities, scoops, and jump ropes. I am requesting these supplies so that we can fill our PE shed with enough equipment for an entire class to participate in the same activity. The scoop ball sets with mesh bag that I am requesting will help students improve their eye hand coordination and practice their throwing and catching skills. The jump ropes will let them master this skill and learn something they can engage in no matter where they are. I am also asking for two balance cushions that my students can use to help them improve balance, coordination, and flexibility.

These resources will give my students the opportunity to get moving, active, and fit!

They will help my students develop important skills and let them see that being active is fun!
