My Students

We are an innovative STEM integrated curriculum school located in a small neighborhood with high parent and community involvement. My students get to help design project-based units of discovery and inquiry throughout the year. My students are multi-cultural, multi-language, multi-racial, multi-national. A true melting pot that represents our global lives!

My students get excited to find learning opportunities in every aspect of our school day.

Playing makes learning even more fun, not to mention promotes healthy lifestyle choices and cooperative team skills!

My Project

My students know that being active every single day is one of the first steps in being healthy. It is so much easier to do when there are enough supplies and equipment for everyone to join in on the healthy fun! My students want to exercise everyday by learning to jump rope.

Jumping rope builds gross muscle strength and coordination while building heart strength.

Jumping gets the heart pumping to build cardiovascular health, lung capacity, and endurance. In an age of easy snacks and entertainment, jumping rope allows students to be active just as easily! My students can jump by themselves, or with one or two friends. We don't need a team to be active and healthy - just a rope!
