This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My Students

I could not be happier about this opportunity I have been given this year.

I get the honor of teaching multicultural children who are so engaged in learning, who enjoy spending time at school, and who care so very deeply about their community.

My children come from neighborhoods all across Philadelphia, with different backgrounds and schema, and, because of them, this school is incredibly diverse.

The children learn how to be Global Citizens as early as Kindergarten. They are taught how to be lifelong learners and contributors to society. My students are going to revolutionize the world. I have no doubt about that!

My Project

No more screens!!! They are going to play at school and they are going to learn together and socialize as well. My students are in the need to take advantage of the time when at school and do something with their classmates. They need to socialize, create bonds and enrich our community. Since we consider that human interaction is more important than screen interaction, the students will enrich their minds and spirits in a way that many generations before technology used to do it. This is a wonderful opportunity also to spend less electricity and keep our old board games alive.
