My Students

Every morning, we sing and follow along to our favorite alphabet song - "El juego del abecedario." This sets the tone for the rest of the day.

Letter sounds are a mysterious thing when you are in kindergarten.

Most of us know the alphabet songs when we first start kindergarten, but do you know what sound those letters make? Can you identify things in our world that start with that letter sound? We are mystery solvers in our classroom. We love to go on academic adventures at school and love to explore the world around us - sights, sounds and all!

My Project

These alphabet tubs will help us make connections between the letters, the sounds and identifying real world examples of objects that make these sounds. They will help us solidify the concept, make deeper connections and begin to understand the basic foundations of reading and writing.

Our classroom will be all the more rich for these tubs.

As a teacher, I love to teach through hands on examples and manipulatives. As students, my kiddos love to touch the world around them as they learn to maneuver through our world. Please, help make our classroom environment, and learning experiences, rich with examples.
