Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The project will use creative activities to enhance well-being by having students integrating engineering skills and personal expression into each component emphasizing on the importance of mental health.

Students will craft a vibrant collection of projects that shine a light on mental health and build a supportive school community.

Students will design and construct a basswood maze symbolizing the journey through mental health challenges, encouraging problem-solving, perseverance, and teamwork. They will also design and cut acrylic tags with a laser cutter to represent mental health themes such as support, resilience, and self-care. Additionally, using heat transfer vinyl, students will create personalized messages with motivational quotes or affirmations to promote positive mental health practices.
