Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students struggle with connecting with history because very often they do not see books about their culture and communities. History does not become interesting to them because they can't relate. These books will allow students to make real world connections to the characters and challenges in the stories.

Each of these books gives students a chance to see how their communities and cultures played such an significant role in history.

By donating to this project you will allow my students to see history from a new perspective, a new light.
