Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The scholars that I have been blessed to lead in curiosity, discovery, and learning this year and over the past 6 years are bright, enthusiastic, and they bring so much joy to our classroom each and every day.

Energetic learners crave energized learning opportunities.

This could not be more true of my scholars. As their teacher, I strive to make our learning fun, engaging, and most importantly memorable. My students continue to amaze me with their potential daily. They are so deserving of everything the community and I have to offer them.

My Project

My students and I are beyond excited to jumpstart our learning with new books. These novels will bring our learning to the next level and encourage a classroom community of readers. We will engage in daily study of the literary structure, theme, characters, and so much more!

As readers, access to our own book and the opportunity to read as a community will enhance our learning and make it even more joyful.

Portions of the novel will be read aloud while other chapters will provide students with the opportunity to improve their independent reading and comprehension skills.
