My Project

My students are intrigued by the past as we study Global History. They come alive when engaged in role-playing, conducting research, creating colorful presentations, and presenting their findings to their peers and adults. Materials to engage them in these activities are limited so this project will fund the materials they need to engage in these activities and enhance their learning and progress. Engaging students in the study of the Middle Ages is a transformative opportunity to bring history to life, and with your support, we can make this vision a reality. This project aims to immerse students in the rich tapestry of medieval culture through hands-on materials, and engaging activities.

The goal of this project is to create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that caters to diverse learning styles.

For example, tactile learners will benefit from handling medieval artifacts or creating their own illuminated manuscripts, while visual learners will thrive on virtual tours of castles and cathedrals. Collaborative group activities, such as building models of medieval towns or debating historical events, will strengthen teamwork and communication skills. By addressing various learning modalities, this project ensures that all students feel engaged and empowered to succeed.
