My Project

Jon Klassen's picture books are perfect for our English as a Second Language (ESL) students in 2nd and 3rd grade. His prose are simple enough for our ESL students who are beginning readers. At the same time, his stories are not juvenile like many picture books that are targeted at a younger audience. There is more to his illustrations and stories than meets the eye.

Our 2nd and 3rd grade ESL students will have a great time reading, deciphering the hidden meanings and laughing together.

Jon Klassen's picture books are witty, clever and just perfect for our 2nd and 3rd grade English language learners.
