Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing first graders that love to learn. At school, they are supported and challenged to always take it a step further. There they thrive with instruction, encouragement, love, and JOY! School is where they enter eagerly to have their first meal of the day. My kiddos depend on the breakfast, lunch, and hot supper programs our school provides to fill their bellies. We are a Title I school with a 100% free lunch program. Despite the many challenges at this time, these kiddos are attempting to tend to their remote learning.

My kiddos would benefit from having fun learning tools to help them thrive academically and socially from home.

Leaving our school campus so abruptly, we didn't get a chance for farewells nor to equip ourselves with the tools we need to endure the rest of the year. Help equip my class with fun tools to fill this journey with academic growth and laughter. Please be part of our academic success team.

My Project

This grim time has our kids missing their friends, school, and extended family. Help perk up their spirits by gifting them with hilarious literature. Not only will they be reading, they’ll be engaging in conversation, using expressive language, captivating audiences, and hopefully, brainstorming other clever jokes.

Keep these kids reading and lift their spirits at the SAME TIME with jokes books.

This is a perfect combination to keep kids reading at home during this grim time. Add spunk to their reading! Add laughter! What is that they say? Oh yeah, “Laughter is the Best medicine.”
