My Students

I teach PE to every student at my school--K-5. My students have very different backgrounds and athletic abilities. My plan is to try and get all the students close to or on the same level as the already athletic kids to give every student a sporting chance at having fun during recess and PE.

My kids come from many places around the world.

My kids come from places like South America, Russia, China, and the Middle East. Although my kids come from different places, they all love PE. Every week, we learn a few new games, but my games are limited due to lack of equipment. My kids play hard and have great sportsmanship and teamwork.

My Project

My students will use the footballs to practice throwing and catching and in general the game of football. My students will use the soccer balls to practice passing, kicking and dribbling so that they can properly mimic their favorite world class soccer star. The dodge balls will be use to learn how to dodge, evade and throw a large ball with precision while learning to be aware of other opponents (spatial recognition in close proximity). The soccer goals will be used to play the game of soccer and any other game that requires a set of goals (Hockey, Lacrosse etc.). My students will use the basketballs to learn how to dribble, pass and shoot the ball will learning the many positions and strategies in the game. The pump and the needles will be use to inflate any and all balls used for PE and recess.

These items will help many students find a love for physical education and help make PE more fun for everyone.

These materials will help students enjoy exercise and become more healthy, also, with these tools students will become stronger mentally, physically and emotionally.
