My Project

Jazz shoes for my dancers will help their dancing by giving them some traction, pointing their feet to see their technique and helping them feel official. My goals are to help facilitate a proper jazz curriculum. We have a shoe procedure for every class where they remove their street shoes and put on their technique shoes. We do this with ballet now and hope to do it with jazz as well.

Our students are special because they get studio training in a low income title one public charter school.

They get to experience fine art in an area where it is economically challenging to come across. I would love for our dancers to feel like accomplished and trained dancers. I cant wait to see them succeed!
