My Students

My students are hard-working but come from low-income families. They enjoy many hands-on projects and are always enthusiastic about science! When we have the materials to do experiments and investigations, they are so excited and learn a lot.

There is a lot of out-of-the-box thinking going on in our science room.

The more materials, the more opportunity for higher-level thinking. Science gives the students so many opportunities to think at a higher level. The more supplies we have, the more STEAM activities we do!

Please help any way you can!

My Project

The science room needs supplies since we are not sharing across all the classrooms! It would be wonderful if we have some of the basics: jars with lids, pencils, and sturdy folders! We do a lot of group work and we need clean jars and pencils so we won't share as much as we used to. The jars will hold what we are studying inside, so we won't need to touch everything. Fewer germs will be spread that way. Pencils are always being borrowed, so any extra always comes in handy. Thank you for any help!
