My Project

These books will expand my students' minds and allow them to connect with the lifestyles and philosophies of some great writers like James Baldwin, 2pac Shakur, Shawn Carter, Napoléon Hill, and more. These books will expand their minds beyond their 5-mile radius and push their dreams.

My goals for this project are for students to read the books and write one-page papers about how the book made them feel and what they gained from reading the book.

I want my scholars to be able to see themselves in the books read.

My students are very unique because they are experiencing education from a technological position because of the pandemic and have lost the analog way of learning. This book club will help them create a balance.
