My Project

A reward system in a classroom is crucial because it can significantly increase student motivation to participate, complete assignments, and engage in positive behaviors. This can improve academic performance by reinforcing desired actions and creating a positive learning environment. Essentially, it encourages students to repeat behaviors recognized and rewarded by the teacher.

This is especially important for my students, who are English learners, special education students, and low-income students.

I already struggle and most shut down when faced with complex concepts. I have found that when they know a reward is in the wings, they try their best to show they deserve it. This creates a positive classroom environment, and I hope it will help.
