Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am bringing Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to our classroom! The kids walk in to a classroom transformation unexpectedly and their eyes light up! They are immediately engaged in what we are learning. I try to do these transformations to bring my students on a learning adventure through hands-on learning activities.

Our classroom will look like we stepped into the pages of Roald Dahl's book, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

The backdrop and table decor are just a few materials needed to make these classroom transformations come to life! The chocolate wafers will be added to our chocolate fountain. We will experiment with cotton candy science, jawbreakers, and more. Each student will receive a golden ticket wrapper in a full-size candy bar.
