My Project

Our students are growing up in a high tech world. Sadly, technology has a tendency to create more sedentary lifestyles, which can lead to health concerns. As a PE teacher, my goal is to incorporate technology in a way that promotes healthy and active lifestyles for my students.

Heart rate monitors can allow students a better understanding of the benefits of how their effort and intensity directly correlates to their heart activity and health.

These heart rate monitors are the most valid way a PE teacher can measure effort and exercise intensity with students. These monitors take away the guessing game of determining whether or not students are actually exerting themselves in class.
