My Project

As a teacher working in Special education. It’s amazing the variety of approaches, tools, and supportive equipment, that is needed to truly support students make the tremendous growth they are capable of.

This classroom supports a huge spectrum of needs, ranging from supporting students to write well-crafted multi-paragraph essays, to students learning to write letters consistently or using an adapted method of writing, like letter magnets, to spell their own name.

The chosen items are all specifically chosen to support student learning. The clock is intended to support students learn and become proficient with reading an analog clock, something that rarely exists in schools anymore even though students get tested on how to read them (make it make sense).

The writing supports will be used to help students further develop their writing skills, who have significant learning needs, but show interest in drawing/tracing.

From a teacher who has more than 30 years left in their career, if you are willing to donate, thank you! We are extremely caring of our classroom resources and they will be utilized for decades to come!
