This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

"Hold On!, The projector overheated or we have to wait until the projector cools down," are some of the things I say to my students as they wait to see classroom material on the board.

My students come from homes where English is their second language.

Most of my students are bused in from a low- income apartment dwelling neighborhood. The first activity in our Daily Schedule is eating breakfast. Most of the time they come to school hungry without having any breakfast at home.

My Project

To have an updated EPSON projector means my students won't have to worry about many things: They don't have to wait around every time the projector heats up or when it doesn't want to turn on. They also won't have to worry about tripping on the extension cord because it is under our classroom carpet. My students won't also have to worry about the cables that come out of the projector to connect to the ELMO or to our laptop. Having an updated EPSON projector means my students have to focus on learning! We use our classroom projector on a daily basis for each academic area. Their favorite is on rainy days when they can watch videos on board through the projector.

To have an updated EPSON projector means my students will be Focused on everyday learning.

They will be able to clearly see all classroom material that is being projected on our whiteboard. We won't have to worry about our projector overheating or turning on. I also won't have to worry about being cited for having an extension cord under the classroom carpet.
