Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In the school, this will be a new class for pre-K students. As we are designing the classroom and putting together curriculum, these materials will provide the pre-K experience for students. Students will be in a small class and the way they interact and learn is important to prepare them for kindergarten.

The items such as the math mini-poster, reading books and puzzles will help students learn more progressively and help me interact with students in dynamic ways.

In addition pens, colored pencils, pen holder, tote organizer, Post-its, and pencil sharpener will be to engage with the work and give feedback on how students are learning.

My students are blending in with the school community and as they are starting their education journey here. I want them to get the entire pre-K experience. Furthermore, they are ecstatic about learning and finding ways to make learning fun.

Students will use these items for everyday use and engage in projects and classwork. Furthermore, students will be able to read and write using these resources. My goal for my students is for them to learn the foundational skills.
