This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am a social worker at a middle school in the heart of the South Bronx seeking funding for "that time of the month" supplies for my female students.

Dealing with and managing a female's monthly "visitor" can be an uncomfortable time both physically and emotionally for young teenagers.

When my female students need personal hygiene products they come to my office and I need supplies readily available for them to take without having to ask.

With your donation, I will be able to provide my female students with a supply of pads and some underwear to distribute from my counseling office.
