My Project

Hands on learning is what my STEM lab is all about. My goal is to not only teach science, technology, engineering, and math, but to also to teach teamwork, communication, cooperation, and problem solving. I believe the more engaging lessons are, the more impactful they will be.

With these new STEM supplies, KNEX roller coster building set, Microscope Kit, Circuit Maze Game and Gravity Maze Marble Run, I will be able to create STEM stations for the students.

Students will be able to rotate in teams around my lab to various hands-on interactive stations. They will learn how to use a microscope, build models, understand how light reflects and refracts, and the concept of gravity.

Science is amazing and watching students interact with each other to problem solve creates this type of magic in the classroom. The students become the teachers and it is a sight to see! This is the type of classroom I want to build for my students.
