Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My 3-K early childhood education program is composed of fun, loving, and caring for young children. They love engaging in hands-on experiences that encourage and support their learning through play. My students love to actively engage with their peers, teachers, and grown-ups! Let's get ready to rock remote learning in September 3-K Explorers!

My Project

Having a variety of books available will open doors to my 3-year-old students. My students will have the opportunity to learn about diversity, cultures, and experiences around the world. These books will allow my continual practice in efforts to support their language development and strengthening their reading. It is important that my classroom library supports diversity and is culturally responsive. I have spent a considerable amount of time researching books that ensure that my classroom has enough materials so that each child will be successful. Receiving these books will allow each student to not only support their speech and language development but will open the door to different cultures and would support social awareness issues that affect our community. Your donation, however small or large will without a doubt change the lives of my students.
