My Project

My students love to learn about the world around them!

These books would give my students an opportunity to learn about their world through their reading!

They will learn about community helpers, as well as different types of communities.

I plan to use these books in various capacities in the classroom. In a series of close reading lessons, I will use them to model strategies for decoding, fluency, and comprehension.

Using these books will help my students practice these skills and meet social studies standards. That's two for the price of one!
