Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are simply amazing! They’re just eager to learn, especially during our math block. They just love learning math. They love our math warm-ups because they see it as chance to compete with their classmates and show what they know.

It does get a little frustrating for my students when they have to consistently draw the number bonds, tens frames, number lines, etc.

over and over again.

Having a set of write and wipe pocket charts, markers and erasers would allow me to place printed templates for my students to reuse during math warm-up, along with our math lessons. The timer would be an extra bonus so that students can see how much time they have left to complete math problems!
