My Project

Students can express themselves in various ways. Journaling is a great way for students to express their own thoughts. This can be a chance to put thought to paper. When journaling we take time to draw pictures related to our thoughts, related text, and/or instruction. Following drawing time, students will have an opportunity to write related words.

Journaling allow students to practice skills through expression.

The primary notebooks are perfect for the kindergarten grade level. Allowing for a large drawing space and large writing lines. Students are still working on letter formation and sizing, so these books are well suited for their writing style. Students will be able to use the jumbo pencils to assist with writing practice and pencil grip. Finally the use of crayons are needed so that students can use their last form of expression through color. Allowing students to use color is a chance for them to make their picture go from a thought to a masterpiece.
