My Students

My students are AMAZING! They are excited to learn and work hard to excel beyond the limitations of their neighborhood.

They love to learn, create, play and are inspiring to all who work with them!

My second graders all come from low-income areas and often do not have the necessary resources at home to extend the school day beyond our classroom. They are hard workers and do everything they can to be successful! My second graders are absolutely fabulous kids!

My Project

My students love having the opportunity to visit our technology center. Unfortunately though, our computers are unreliable and at best, one or two work each day. We need your help to replace our current laptops with new ones that will allow us to do research into the topics we are interested in! We tried to learn about the Solar Eclipse with them but every time, we were disappointed.

We want to STEM our way across the school year with your help!

We also need new cases for our iPads. Did you know that in a few years most students across the country will be taking their tests on a computer? And schools rarely teach typing skills? That's why we need keyboard cases for our iPads so we can be ahead of the curve and ready to do everything we can to be successful! Once we can type, we can print our work and share it for our school to see! We are making big moves in Mrs. P's class thanks to the generosity of others! Please help us to continue on this amazing path!
