Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are from a New York Public School. Our school works as a P.A.C.K. It stands for Pathways to Acquire Commuity and Knowledge! We feel that all of our students have the ability to learn. This project will reach 25 of the most creative and energetic new learners! The students will all come in at different learning levels, including English Language Learners, as well as students in need of Speech and Occupational Therapy and my job is to reach every single one of them.

My Project

I have taught second grade for the past few years. Now, I am returning to Kindergarten with all the love in my heart. I am excited to make them feel like they are part of the PACK. To do that, I will need lots of supplies including, theme based classroom decorations and everyday supplies. The decorations include paw letters, erasers, paper, tags, and floor decals. All of these items will help create a positive learning environment for the littlest PACK members. I am also asking for caddies, scissors and mailboxes because these are items that will be used on a daily basis and will help make transitions easier.
