Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Thank you so much for your interest in supporting our school. Since 2021, we have had the unique Opportunity to join the Intrepid College Prep team as the Full-Time Counselors and build our program brick by brick. Through trial and error. We have created social emotional curriculum, calm cards for every class room, calming spaces, and more to support the unique needs of our students.

The items that I am requesting, specifically the technology, will allow for more effective data analysis, needs assessment, planning, and triage of the crises we face so that we may be more responsive to parents and students.

The comfort items will help to disarm students who traditionally have hesitations towards counseling or therapy and to create a safe environment via pillows, blankets, decor, etc. We hope to empower our students through more intentional and interactive programming and look forward to what the new year brings!
