This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
Our students are resilient, resourceful, and full of potential. Many come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, where basic necessities like warm winter gear are not always readily available. Despite these challenges, they show up every day eager to learn and grow.
Our school serves students who thrive on encouragement and support.
Providing them with something as simple as a warm hat and scarf can make a significant difference in their well-being and self-esteem.
The goal of this project is to provide warm hats and scarves for our students to ensure they stay comfortable and protected during the colder months. Many of our students walk to school or wait at bus stops in freezing temperatures without proper winter attire.

These small but essential items will not only keep them warm but also allow them to focus on their education rather than worrying about the cold.
Every child deserves to feel safe, warm, and cared for, especially during the winter. By providing these items, we are sending a message of love and support, letting our students know they matter. Warm students are happy students, and happy students are ready to learn!
Your generous support will make a direct and immediate impact on our students' lives. Together, we can ensure that every child faces the winter months with warmth.
