This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have been tasked to teach a double period Algebra class. We are preparing our students for the state regents exam for January.

Our students have been so dedicated and continue to show their commitment in achieving their goal of getting a college ready score for their exam.

Some of them even show up on Saturdays to review. I want to celebrate their hard work and cheer them on for their effort to willingly learn, practice, and persevere.

This project will provide my students a new classroom kettle and instant noodles for our much anticipated holiday party.
