My Project

There are so many benefits in bedtime story routine… it is a special quality time between a child and a parent (or any family member who reads to the child.) It provides a child comfort right before bedtime, and it most certainly foster a love for books, which is the first step to become a future reader.

Bedtime stories are one of the best gifts parents can give to a child.

Many families, however, do not always have age appropriate books for their child at home. Their busy work schedules often prevent them from visiting a city library.

This is my 15th year teaching kindergarten, and I have always loved to gift books to my students whenever possible. Our class favorite character is Pete the Cat, and I would love to gift Pete the Cat Bedtime Stories to my students. I appreciate every and any help I can get to fund this project. Thank you very much for your consideration!
