My Project

Kindergarten is a magical age and I have the privilege of helping them learn every day! My students love to learn and in Kindergarten, learning should be so much fun! I am hoping to be able to use the Spin to Win game and the Plinko game to use during literacy and math centers. The Spin to Win can have letters, numbers, words, addition/subtraction facts and so much more written on it. The student will spin and solve whatever they land on. This would be so much more fun than drawing a card and solving or doing a worksheet. Growing up, I LOVED The Price is Right and I used to dream of making it on the show and getting to play Plinko. When I saw this Plinko game, I knew I needed it for my class! I can picture it being used in so many ways! One way is to put numbers at the bottom, then have the students drop two discs and add them together. Another way is to put letters at the bottom and then give them a word family like -at. Once they drop the disc, they write and read the word that they made. I feel like both of these games would bring so much joy to my students during learning centers.
