My Project

My Project is to help sustain the animals that we already have in our classroom as well as introduce my classes to new ones. We currently have a 20 gallon tank with 10 guppie fish, a smaller tank to keep the baby guppies safe and a 6 month old bearded dragon named Draco Marshmallow. My students from Pre-k-5 enjoy watching our pets grow. They love learning about them and learning how to take care of them. The children take turns feeding and caring for our pets. This project will help them continue to learn about these animals as well as new ones.

I am asking for materials to help with the up keep of these animals as well as some butterfly kits and ladybug kits so the can watch the transformation happen right before their eyes.

My students love when our guppies have babies and I know the will enjoy watching these insects as well. So please help my students continue to learn about these living creatures which they may not have the opportunity to care for and learn about at home.
