Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The young scholars sincerely love the challenge of assembling large floor puzzles. The sheer sense of success with the beautiful completed image from pieces to a whole is so gratifying. They will remain assembled for an entire day. Then, students can research the completed puzzle topic of solar system, four seasons, USA, ocean, and more to learn three new fact about it and share with their peers.

The young architects will truly enjoy and become engaged in constructing complicated, twisted, colorful marble runs.

They'll learn about gravity, curves, pulls, and turns. What a stellar, creative STEM activity!

The multicultural family figurines will be a wonderful addition to the wooden blocks. The young scholars can give the figurines a backstory with creative neighborhoods and mixed families and then, finally, draw and write about it.

What a ginormous difference these items will make in my students' academic lives by opening up new avenues of discovery.
