My Students

The National Honor Society (NHS) is an organization dedicated to recognizing and encouraging outstanding high school students in grades 10-12. Students that are members of National Honor Society students must exemplify four the four pillars: scholarship, service, leadership and character.

Excellence is not a skill, it is an attitude.

Many of these students have demonstrated having a 3.0 or above GPA from their freshman year of school. Students take part in community service projects and leadership roles throughout the community in order to show that they are exemplar students.

My Project

As a requirement of National Honor Society, members are required to complete service projects to help in the community. National Honor Society has participated in school wide events such as, Bulls for a Day, where students from middle school get to tour the high school facility and Clean Our Parks, which helps to beautify parks in the local community.

As a group our motto is not only to give our best, but to stand united to make a change.

The jackets in this project will help students to feel a sense of unity because they will share not only the memory of completing community service, but having ONE look.
