This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom collects a ton of germs! From snotty noses to eating snacks....We eat in our classroom 3 times a day, so you can only imagine how quickly our cleaning supplies dwindle down. We use them the best we can by sharing, but it still takes a lot of wipes to clean our tables.

I am headed out on maternity leave shortly and before I go, I want to make sure my sub and co-teacher have all the things they need to be successful, and that includes cleaning supplies!

We are getting lower on things like Kleenex and wipes. It is important we keep our kiddos clean all year long so that they can be present in school. Already, we have had many sicknesses and snotty noses that we have been working hard to combat.

Another thing that has been a little bit of a "mess" is our lack of attention. I have been gone a few days for doctors appointments and I have a few kids who need some fidgets to help them be successful. My co-teacher has been so great with introducing these and helping kids manage their anxiety by using these tools. These will definitely help some of my kids stay focused while I am away.

I am asking for some support in getting these supplies so that there is no question that my kiddos are clean and well taken care of during the time of my absence. Please help if you can!
