Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have taught 2nd grade for 6 years in a row, and I was asked to move to 3rd grade. A portion of the materials that I am requesting are needed to create a more age-appropriate learning space for my future students with a Mario Bros. twist. I also want to make this space welcoming and comfortable, which is why I would like to provide them with flexible seating choices like floor desks. Staying organized is important when learning new things, and the caddies will help my students keep their materials organized and always at their reach. Everyone of my students is special and deserves to have all the materials they need to empower their minds in a fun learning environment.
