My Students

My class is filled with 24 vibrant and inquisitive learners. They are a group of diverse learners who come from different economic, social, and ethnic backgrounds.

No matter their differences they all value their education and the education of their peers.

My students come to school everyday ready to learn and work hard to reach their goals. They are a kind and caring group of students and cheer on their classmates achievements.

Our school is a small school in a close knit community. We have parent support and a wonderful staff who want what is best for all students.

My Project

Every spring our first graders learn about plants and animals for science. It is our hope that we can provide a hands-on experience for our first graders to learn about the life cycle of insects by housing live insects in the classroom.

We would love for our first graders to watch ladybugs change from larvae into adults, and for caterpillars to morph into adults under the observation of the eager young eyes of our students.

We believe it will help students understand what living creatures need to survive, the natural process of the lifecycle, and develop a love for life science.
