My Students

My students are amazing! They surprise me each and every day and keep me learning more for them. We seriously have some of the best students in our small-town elementary school.

My students are always ready to try something new and because of that, I want to be a better teacher everyday.

I want to grow with them!

Our school is over sixty percent free or reduced-price lunch recipients, but together our community, parents and staff work to get us everything we need. I am so grateful to have wonderful people like you also partnering with us to help get our students everything they so deserve.

My Project

We have an amazing classroom filled with students who are willing and ready to learn.

Students need to come to school to learn, engage, and have fun!

If students hate school, they will hate learning. I believe we can make learning fun!

Parents and myself will kick off the year with some snacks, but they will only last so long. I want to make sure we have enough to keep a daily healthy snack going for months to come. These snacks keep us fueled throughout the rest of the day. I believe that when students are happy, well fed, and engaged in their learning, they will learn the most and they will enjoy what they are doing. I also want my students to learn what are healthy and unhealthy snacks.

This fall I also added a Beta fish to our classroom thanks to a generous grant. With having a Beta fish there are other costs. The filter needs to be changed, the toys that the Beta fish has need to be cleaned and the Beta needs to be fed when we are gone on the weekends. I'd also like to add a second Beta fish into our aquarium, so that is why I am requesting a gift card to a local pet store. The Beta fish is just another wonderful element in our classroom that makes our classroom our home away from home.
