Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I work with an amazing bunch of bilingual students, many of them new to the country. All of them are at different stages of language progression, with the bulk of them at the beginning and emerging stages. All of my students read below grade level in both their home and English language. A hundred percent of my students come from low income or no income families.

They would benefit from a variety of classroom resources to help increase their success in our newly established remote learning platform.

I would like to obtain Post-It easel pads for anchor charts, ink and other items.

My Project

Thank you DonorsChoose for allowing teachers to get funded distance learning projects delivered home! For this project I am requesting easel pads, document camera, permanent markers, ink cartridge, and a fordable whiteboard. These items will allow me to maximize the remote learning of my students.

With the ink and document camera, I will be able to print math and other worksheets to deliver live lessons while sharing the screen for my students to watch as I model.

I will use easel pads, markers and writeboard to create posters, and others to share with my students in Google Classroom lessons as well as Google Meet. Thank you for reading!
