My Students

I am tasked with the pleasure of teaching enthusiastic, second-grade students in all subject areas FROM HOME. These students are curious, intelligent, and creative beyond all measure but teaching from home has made things challenging. They attend a visual and performing arts magnet school in Los Angeles. Since our school is an arts magnet, we try to integrate art in all forms into as many subject areas as possible. The students at this school come from various backgrounds with various life experiences. Funding for some of our materials is difficult to come by. I appreciate you coming to our page and would appreciate any​ support you could give.

My Project

I have been teaching from home since last March. We have adapted relatively well to this for most subjects but I know if I got an iPad Pro, I could make many art lessons more manageable and interactive for my students. We are an Art Magnet and reaching all students is important to us.

We are often unable to purchase new and exciting devices to help inspire and teach.

I am often at a loss for being able to download amazing apps to intrigue and spark curiosity. Our District iPads are locked and unable to support many of the amazing art creating, movie making, and music engineering apps I would love to include in our classroom learning. Being able to screencast the app for distance learning will allow the students to get the full effect of how to navigate and create.
